"Gift card email never showed up"
I bought a gift card thinking it would be a quick and easy gift, but the email never came through. I checked spam, waited for hours, refreshed my inbox way too many times, and still nothing. By the time I dealt with support and didn’t really get anywhere, I was just mentally drained from the whole thing. Definitely not something I’d trust again if I needed a gift card delivered by email

I got my card and everything worked out fine, but it did take longer than I was expecting. Maybe it’s just me, but the wait felt a little slow.

"Balance was off and the whole thing was a hassle"
I’d used gyft.com a couple times before and it was fine enough, nothing exciting, but this time the balance shown on the site didn’t match what was actually available when I went to use the card. It was doing that little “you’ve got more money left” nonsense, except I definitely did not.
Support did get back to me, so I’ll give them that, but it wasn’t exactly quick and then came the screenshot scavenger hunt. Not the worst place ever, but if the balance can’t be trusted, that’s kind of the main thing. I’m not in a rush to use it again.

"Login issues make it hard to trust"
I’ve been having a frustrating time with Gyft lately. Half the time when I try to log in, it either won’t load, gives me some vague “something went wrong” message, or suddenly wants me to reset things again. It’s really annoying when all I’m trying to do is check a gift card quickly. My gut feeling is that the account access just isn’t reliable right now, and support didn’t really solve it for me either.

"Wallet setup was... not great"
I tried adding my gift card to my digital wallet, and for some reason it just would not go through. I kept getting random errors with no helpful explanation, which was totally fine, obviously. Support took a while to get back to me too, so that didn’t exactly help. Kind of frustrating when the whole point is supposed to be quick and easy, but sure, staying calm.

I did get my refund in the end, so I appreciate that. It just took a bit longer than I think is reasonable. I know things can get busy, but when someone is waiting on their own money, it feels like the decent thing to do is keep them updated and handle it a little faster...

"Extra fees were really disappointing"
I tried using Gyft thinking it would be a convenient way to grab a gift card, but the extra fees kind of ruined it for me. By the time I got to checkout, the price didn’t feel like a good deal anymore. i was disappointed and would probably just buy the card directly next time...

I tried buying a gift card and their fraud check basically shut the whole thing down. The payment was showing as pending in my bank app, then my account got locked with no real explanation. Support just kept sending the same copy-paste stuff and telling me to wait. Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me it was just a waste of time and then

"My gut said this bulk order was going sideways"
I used Gyft to place a bulk gift card order for our team, it turned into way more of a headache than I expected.

Some of the cards arrived late, a few of the codes didn’t work, and support kept giving me short replies that didn’t really answer my questions. I kept having to follow up for days just to get basic information, and at a certain point my gut was telling me this wasn’t being handled well.
For a larger purchase, I expected the whole process to feel a lot more reliable and organized. I’d trust my instinct next time and look elsewhere for bulk orders

"PayPal payment turned into a headache"
I paid with PayPal and thought everything was fine since I got the receipt email, but then the order just got stuck. I emailed support and went back and forth, but they weren’t really helpful and didn’t seem to know what was going on. Frustrating experience overall, and I don’t think I’ll be using them again.

"Gift card code didn’t work??"
I bought a gift card from Gyft and when I went to use it, the code showed as invalid?? Super frustrating. I reached out to support, but they took way too long to get back to me, which just made the whole thing more annoying. i don’t think I’ll be buying from Gyft again.

"Gyft worked fine for the most part..."
Gyft worked fine for the most part, and maybe I was just being impatient, but when something went wrong the error message didn’t really tell me much. I had to kind of guess what the issue was and try again a couple times. It wasn’t a huge deal, but I do wish it explained what needed fixing a little better.

"Redeeming it took way too much hassle"
I bought a gift card thinking it would be quick and easy, but redeeming it was a pain. The code didn’t work at first, and I spent around way too much time trying different ways to get it to go through. The instructions weren’t very clear either, which made it even more frustrating. For something that’s supposed to be simple, this was about the opposite. I don’t think I’ll use Gyft again.

"The discount wasn’t really worth it"
The promo barely saved me anything, so it didn’t feel like much of a deal. What made it more annoying was all the aggressive reminders pushing me to use it, like it was some huge offer. By the time I actually checked out, the savings were so small it just felt overhyped.

"Verification was kind of confusing"
gyft worked fine in the end, but the account verification part confused me a bit. I thought it would be quick, but I ended up waiting and checking my email a few times because I wasn’t really sure what was supposed to happen next. It wasn’t a huge deal, just annoying when you’re trying to buy a gift card quickly. Support was okay, but I wish the instructions had been a little clearer.
